Yappy Hour Returns at Bell Tower Shops

After a successful inaugural event last month, Yappy Hour & Stroll returns on July 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at dog-friendly Bell Tower Shops.

Shoppers, along with their dogs, will enjoy wine, beer and live music plus special canine treats at participating merchants. All dogs must be leashed.

“We had over 100 dogs and their owners during June’s Yappy Hour,” said Amy Fletcher-Smith, director of marketing at Bell Tower Shops. “Yappy Hour provides a fun environment for people and their pooches to meet and socialize over drinks, dinner and shopping.”

The event, which takes place the second Friday of each month, is free with center court beverage donations benefiting Gulf Coast Humane Society. The mission of the Gulf Coast Humane Society is to provide humane care for surrendered animals in Southwest Florida by offering refuge, providing medical care and facilitating an adoptive home. GCHS is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization serving the area. For more information, visit www.gulfcoasthumanesociety.org.

Bell Tower Shops is an open-air lifestyle center, located at U.S. 41 and Daniels Parkway, with 40 retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue and The Fresh Market, nine restaurants and Bell Tower 20 Regal Cinemas. The center’s sidewalk garden setting of lush landscaping, splashing fountains and covered walkways makes it a popular gathering place.
