Yappy Hour at Bell Tower Shops now includes Bowl Stroll

Yappy Hour & Stroll returns to dog-friendly Bell Tower Shops on Friday, Aug. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wine, beer and live music will be available in the center court. Shoppers and their canine companions will enjoy the “bowl stroll” throughout the shopping center where colorful dog bowls will identify 35 merchants who are pooch-friendly. Dogs must be leashed.

“I’m not sure who’s having more fun, the dogs or their owners,” said Amy Fletcher-Smith, director of marketing at Bell Tower Shops. “But one thing is for certain, everyone is enjoying having their dogs with them for happy hour, dinner or shopping.”

The event, which takes place the second Friday of each month, is free with center court beverage donations benefiting Gulf Coast Humane Society. The mission of the Gulf Coast Humane Society is to provide humane care for surrendered animals in Southwest Florida by offering refuge, providing medical care and facilitating an adoptive home. Bell Tower Shops is an open-air lifestyle center, located at U.S. 41 and Daniels Parkway, with 40 retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue and The Fresh Market, nine restaurants and Bell Tower 20 Regal Cinemas.
