Senior Expo planned to honor National Senior’s Day
The Bell Tower Shops will be honoring National Senior’s Day with an Expo from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. The shopping center’s management office is still accepting reservations from both nonprofit and for-profit agencies and businesses that provide services to senior citizens in Southwest Florida. Types of vendors requested include providers of medical services, long-term care, home health care, assisted living, rehab programs, legal services, financial services, support groups for caregivers, fitness services, medical supplies and government programs targeting seniors to participate.
“With such a growing senior population throughout Southwest Florida, we expect to have a large turnout, bringing together the best of products and services for seniors in our community,” said Shannon Densham, marketing director at Bell Tower Shops. “The expo is planned to include health screenings, lectures, and a variety of valuable information on senior-related services within the region.” The event is free of charge and open to the general public.
A limited amount of free vendor space will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Groups that specialize in any aspect of senior well-being should contact the Bell Tower Shops Management Office at 489-1221 ext. 101 by Friday, Aug. 1
